Location Details

The Inspiration for the Boilerhouse Play and where the play itself was held was in Kirkby Nr Liverpool the Location was in the Kirkby Response Theatre, Westhead Avenue Northwood.
The Locations for The Film were Chosen Mainly for budgeting reasons, but also for their authenticity to Living in Liverpool in the 21st Century.
The Houses Chosen were a variety of typical housing in Liverpool dating back to the 1940s up to the 1970s but still around in great numbers around the City.
The Boilerhouse itself, unfortunately does no longer exist Being a used store room and new gas boilers installed in a different part of the building.
After looking for suitable locations within the Merseyside area the decision was made to use Pub Cellars' or possibly a comunity center and build a Boilerhouse set, thus giving us many more options and greater
flexibility for filming and set designing.

Other Locations are Stanley Road Bootle, Mather Avenue Mossley Hill, Rawcliff Road Walton. and More to Be decided Soon.

The 3 Houses Being used are in Fazakerley, Dingle and Wavetree. All quite a few Miles apart, but will Knit together in the Edit, The school/Boilerhouse has not been Decided on, as of 28th Jan 2010
